Overview: Setting Microsoft Edge as default browser and changing the search engine to Google.
Step 1 - Open Microsoft Edge
Now that you have installed Edge, let's go ahead and open it.
Step 2 - Set as Default Browser
When you first open Edge, it will as if you would like to set this as your default browser.

Step 3 - Customise Edge Appearance
You can select your preferred appearance on Edge.
Note: You can skip this part if you wish. This can be done anytime via Settings.
Step 4 - Open Edge Settings
Click on the three dots on the top-right corner of your browser.
Step 5 - Change Your Search Engine
Follow the steps below to change your default search engine from Bing to Google.

1. Click on the Search Bar. | 2. Type in "Address Bar and Search" and click on the highlighted text. |

3. Click the drop-down next to 'Search Engine used in the address bar'. | 4. Select Google. |
Step 6 - Change Favourites to Always Show
Next, we are going to add some websites to your favourites folder. This will allow you to easily access them during school.

1. Click on the three dots and select Favourites. Or click on the star icon. | 2. Click on the three dots in Favourites. | 3. Select Show Favourites Bar and select Always. |
Step 7 - Add Links to Favourites
Download the BoscoFavourites.html file linked below and use that to import your favourites. Follow the steps below to do this.

1. Click on Import favourites. | 2. Click the drop-down and select Favourites or Bookmarks HTML File. | 3. Select Choose File and open the BoscoFavourites.html file. |
Alternatively, you can visit each of the links below and click the star to add them to your favourites.
